LIVING WITH THE COMPLETE GODHEAD Often, after knowing someone for some time, we see that person in a new setting and learn something new about our friend. Perhaps we discover a new common interest or shared experience or similarity in certain skills in the process. Our new knowledge helps us better understand our friend and may contribute to a better relationship. Many have known God and walked with God, but they are ignorant of the Holy Spirit and how He can make their lives complete. Knowing about the Holy Spirit is the first step to knowing Him and allowing Him to work in your life. Many Christians limit their understanding of the Holy Spirit to a single experience they have had with the Holy Spirit or to a particular work of the Holy Spirit. This person may emphasize the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the filling of the Holy Spirit or the illumination of the Holy Spirit. Obviously, this is a narrow understanding of the Holy Spirit.
